IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN
In the garden of Eden, sickness and disease were not part and parcel of God’s agenda. Sickness was not in God’s agenda for you. When God created Adam, there was no program for him to die. Your body was not designed to die or experience sickness. It all came out of disobedience in the Garden. As soon as man sinned against God, that was the same day when sickness and disease were born. Since then, man has been under the yoke of disease and sickness. Many people, since the world began, have descended to the grave on account of sicknesses and diseases. However, when Jesus came on earth, one of His major assignments was to destroy all works of darkness by destroying sin. (1 John 3:8). And you know sickness and disease are the work of darkness! Sickness is not God’s will for you.
HEALING IS GOD’S PERFECT WILL
Matthew 4:23-24
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.
Until you establish yourself on the truth that healing, and not sickness, is God’s perfect will for you, you will remain in that sickness all the rest of your life. You have to have a conviction in your spirit driving you; otherwise, you may remain in the bed of sickness the rest of your life. Study the chemistry behind your body; it will help you understand that even doctors today don’t understand death -why man dies! They don’t know why the body dies; they don’t have an explanation for that. They may have an explanation of what caused the death, but not why mahttp://uct-category/christian-living/n dies. Why? This is because man’s body was not created to die initially, but to live eternally or forever and ever.
