DIVINE FAVOUR
Favour is not natural strength that you can manipulate at anytime. Favour is a spiritual force that has the ability to turn captives into captains, beggars into bread winners, slaves into masters and failures into achievers. Favour is unmerited grace! It’s not something that you can buy with your human energy. It is divine power that enables us to succeed without struggles. Only God is the giver of this energy called ‘Divine Favour’. It is divine favour or we keep on struggling in life. One encounter with God’s favour will avert all financial dilemmas. (See Psalm 5:12 NKJV)
Favour In the King’ s House
We are clearly told in Esther 2:17:
And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen Instead of Vashit.
The young lady Esther found grace and favour in the sight of the king, not because she was beautiful, but because God was with her. There were many beautiful women at that time in the king’s palace, but favour was what gave her a place of honour. Divine favour promoted her from being a slave girl to being a queen. I believe Esther was you in prophecy during that time. You see, because of favour and grace that God showed Esther, the entire assembly of Israel was preserved from the trap of death. (See Esther 3: 5-14)
Hamman desired the entire nation of Israel to perish mercilessly. But, the power of favour averted the satanic trap of wickedness. The spiritual force of favour will stop the devil at anytime and anywhere in your life. When the Jews, God’s people, went into captivity in Babylon, they were set free from the penalty of death by the power of favour. Hamman devised a law that demanded all the Jews to be destroyed until they were wiped out, but favour saved them. Just as divine favour raised Esther from nothing to greatness, so God’s people also rose from the death penalty to abundant life.
Favour Your Covenant Heritage In Christ Jesus
The blood of Jesus has entitled you to divine favour, but faith is what enables you to walk into it. It is your covenant heritage in Christ Jesus! Don’t play games with the spiritual force of divine favour; it can do anything for you at anytime and anywhere. Favour is a must if you want to experience change in your life. Divine favour is a spiritual distinguishing force, and there is no explanation for it! It will always bring the best into your life. It will always distinguish you in the land of captivity or time of trouble or misery.
Luke 1:28 – 30 says:
And the angel came in unto her and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among the women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And, the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
Mary didn’t access that favour through human means or instrumentation. It was straight away the work of divine grace. It was a divine orchestration of grace! It was divine energy at work, not human energy. Favour is the supernatural manifestation of grace. It is the same grace that can get you and me out of any financial hardship. There are certain dilemmas in life that can’t answer to anything except the spiritual force of favour! Favour is a spiritual force that contains God’s ability to turn people from being slaves to being masters. It was favour that lifted Joseph from slavery into being a master in Egypt.
