“The future of this generation is in the hands of the Youth” (Psalm 112:1-3).
We have two Youth Groups that meet each week (Friday afternoon/evening) during school terms, they aim to develop not only a relationship with God but also each other. It serves to connect the Youth of our Church to the Bible, God and the broader community. It is led by Christian Leaders who are strong in their Faith and who have a passion to see the next generation follow and love God. Overall, Youth seeks to continue to partner with parents and families in the important task of raising children in the way of the Lord.
1. Youth Alive (Years 3-6)
Youth Alive is a ministry that is designed to empower students in grades 3-6, it is a mixture of Bible Study, games, fun, worship and Bible teaching. Each Friday, they will meet and begin with afternoon tea and prayer, praising God through worship and fun games. A small sermon will be presented by the leaders to prepare their thoughts and understanding of God and the Bible. Then they will break off into smaller groups to delve deeper into Gods word.
2.Youth Blast (Years 7-12)
Youth Blast It is a ministry that is designed to empower students in grades 7-12, it is a mixture of Bible Study, games, worship and Bible teaching. Each Friday, they will meet and begin with supper and prayers, praising God through worship and catching up with friends. A small sermon will be presented by the leaders to prepare their thoughts and understanding of God and the Bible. Then they will break off into smaller groups to delve deeper into Gods word, following a topic or sermon series planned to prepare them for life outside of school and the adults they are going to become.
3. Young Adults is a group of believers ages between (18-30).
It is for those who have left school, pursuing their futures not only in their career but continuing their relationships with God. They meet together in Bible study and social gatherings to support each other, the Church and the broader community. They seek God together, using their talents, skills, and gifts they serve and worship God. They will meet weekly in RAW groups and four times a year as a whole group (depending on numbers).They will delve deeper into God’s word, prayer together, support the local and broader community and society. Young people are a blessing to the house of God.Matthew 16:18 “And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”. Jesus is LORD!!!
